GREG MILLER BIO

Greg Miller's path to music, Marco Island and SW Florida is an interesting one. Born in Orlando, Fl and began singing at age 13 in the church choir. He lived in Germany for 25 years, has also served in the military, here and abroad. One evening while living in Europe he went to a club where they had karaoke and lost himself; singing When a Man Loves a Woman. "When I opened my eyes, I had a standing ovation," he recalls, "and I thought, 'this is what I want to do.' He then began to sing in Europe, spending nearly two decades touring and playing venues close to home. He sang with various groups; Lemon Jam, Funk Unlimited, Langenau Gospel Choir, and Basic Colors being his favorite group, having 5 part vocal harmony. The harmony turned him on and he started a group called Reflex. Reflex appeared on Stage as well as German TV and Radio. While in Germany he developed a show called TGMC, The Gregory Miller Concept they toured Germany, Italy, Spain and Egypt. He returned to the United States in 2004 and realized that artist here are out for themselves and tend not to stick together so he formed GM Productions LLC to get artists to work together under a umbrella of security. He has opened for Kool and the Gang and Hot Chocolate; and he's shared a stage with Lionel Richie, Al Green, and the Blues Brothers band. In 1997 Greg won the International Singer of the year contest held in Italy. He won this contest for Germany. Greg Miller's path finally led him back home to the Florida where he began forming Classic Soul and Motown group’s right here in SW Florida. Groups such as Ebony & Ivory, Cross Town, Greg Miller and the Tributes and The Greg Miller Band featuring Greg Miller. The Greg Miller Band is currently appearing at numerous locations throughout SW Florida.
He's versatile --
He doesn't copy the original artist's style so much as lend his own touches, while keeping as true to the original music as possible. Greg Miller works the room, addresses regulars by name, dedicates favorite songs to audience members and even joins them at their tables singing them a song.  This is only one of the many reasons for his popularity. He knows how to keep the audience entertained He plays the crowd with what a genuine enjoyment of both his music and his audience.
